Transfer Fees & Pricing

• Standard FFL Transfer Fee: $35.00 per firearm (includes NICS background check).

• Multiple firearm transfers must receive pre approval from Texas Firearm Dynamics and may require longer processing times due to administrative procedures and requirements.

• Denial / Abandonment Administrative Fee: Transfer fees are non-refundable regardless of NICS background check results. Incoming shipments left uncollected past 14 calendar days without prior notice will incur a $5.00/day storage fee.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Customers

1. Purchase Your Firearm Complete your purchase with the selling dealer, online retailer, or auction site.

2. Submit a Transfer Notification Before or immediately after completing your order, notify us via email us at texasfirearmdynamics@gmail.com with the subject line of the email as “TRANSFERS” :

   • Your full name and contact phone number.

   • Order or invoice number.

   • Firearm make, model, and serial number.

   • Selling dealer's name, email, and phone number.

3. Wait for Notification - Do not rely on carrier tracking (USPS/UPS/FedEx) delivery confirmation. Delivery to our door does not mean the firearm is logged and ready for pickup. We must inspect and log the item into our ATF Acquisition & Disposition (A&D) records first. We will contact you directly via phone or email as soon as your transfer is processed and ready.

4. Schedule Your Pickup Appointment All transfers and handoffs take place strictly by appointment only at our registered business location in Kyle, Texas. 

5. Complete Form 4473 & Background Check Arrive at your scheduled time with a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID featuring your current physical Texas address. You will complete an ATF Form 4473 and NICS background check prior to taking physical custody of your firearm.

Information for Sending Dealers & FFLs

If you are a licensed dealer, manufacturer, or distributor shipping a firearm to Texas Firearm Dynamics, LLC:

• Requesting Our FFL: You can request a certified copy of our Type 01 FFL by emailing texasfirearmdynamics@gmail.com with “FFL VERIFICATION FOR TRANSFER” as the subject line. Please include your business name, FFL number, customer name, and order number in the request.

• Shipment Requirements: All incoming firearm shipments must include:

  1. A valid copy of your active FFL or valid government-issued photo ID (if shipping from an authorized non-FFL private individual, where permitted by law).

  2. An invoice or packing slip listing the receiving customer's name, phone number, and order reference number.

  3. A detailed manifest listing the firearm make, model, caliber, and serial number.

• Delivery & Address: Shipments must be routed directly to our licensed premises: Texas Firearm Dynamics, LLC 150 James Adkins Dr.

Transfer Policies & Regulations

• No Off-Premises Handoffs: In accordance with federal law, all physical firearm transfers must occur on-site at shop location in Kyle, Texas. Off-site transfers or range handoffs are strictly prohibited.

• Age Requirements: Recipients must be at least 18 years of age to transfer long guns, and at least 21 years of age to transfer handguns, stripped receivers, frames, or complete lowers.

• Denied Background Checks: If a NICS background check yields a "Deny" response, the firearm cannot be released under any circumstances. The customer is solely responsible for return shipping costs to the original seller and any applicable seller restocking fees.
